Building at Mountain Landing
All home and landscaping design at Mountain Landing is subject to a set of design guidelines. These encourage the building of homes that are both individual and expressive in design and harmonious with the Mountain Landing environment.
In particular, the guidelines seek to minimise the impact of buildings on the skyline and encourage the use of natural construction materials and colourings. All homes must be of the highest quality.
We are happy to recommend a number of leading New Zealand architects who have a special affinity with the Mountain Landing style, some of whom have developed concept drawings for selected house sites at Mountain Landing.
Design Review Board
The observance of these design principles is overseen by a Design Review Board, which includes master plan architect Pip Cheshire. Your choice of architect and landscape designer and all plans for the site must be approved prior to building by the Design Review Board.
