With wide views out to the Bay of Islands, Site 16 is an approximately 5.5-acre (2.237-hectare) section close to the restored wetlands and flourishing bird life of the Te Puna Valley.

A grassed walkway runs from the bottom of the property through native bush to the open spaces of the historic Village Green and Rangihoua Bay, with the quiet, sandy beach just a short walk away.

The property overlooks the Mountain Landing vineyard, due for its first harvest in 2010. As a sunny sloping northeast-facing site, Site 16 has also been identified as suitable for the growing of grapes.
