Site 17

Site 17 lies close to the stunning stone sculptures and gateway of the main Mountain Landing entrance. The approximately 4.5-acre (1.805-hectare) site enjoys a commanding position at one of the highest points on Mountain Landing and consequently enjoys some of the most spectacular views.

The outlook to the south and east is a panorama of sea and islands, with the Mountain Landing vineyard and the ponds and wetlands of Te Puna and Wairoa in the foreground. To the north there are extensive rural views back over the Purerua Peninsula. A short walk through the adjacent Mountain Landing vineyard accesses the Rangihoua Bay walkway, which runs down through the wetlands to the beach.

The house site has been located to maximise the views in all directions while still being sheltered from the prevailing winds.
