Comprising approximately 7.6 acres (3.077 hectares), Site 18 is a large site extending from the road just inside the main entry gates down to the restored wetlands at the top of the Te Puna Valley.

Situated on a sunny northeast-facing slope, the site enjoys views over the historic Village Green to the waters of the Bay of Islands, looking out to Roberton, Moturua and Urupukapuka Islands. Walking tracks and boardwalks link the property to the wetlands, beach and Boathouse below, and provide an easy, level stroll down to the sea.
