Site 19
Site 19 is an approximately 11-acre (4.41-hectare) site lying adjacent to the main Mountain Landing entrance and accessed directly from Rangihoua Road.
This large sunny site contains stands of mature manuka bush, pine trees and palms. It is currently occupied by a modest four-bedroom house and separate garage, located over the proposed building platform. This stands atop a small rise that falls away to Rangihoua Road to the north, and to the Te Puna Valley to the southeast.
Extensive views down the valley take in the entranceway planting, the Mountain Landing vineyard and the ocean beyond, including the Black Rocks and outlying islands.
Walking tracks wind from the bottom of the site through the restored wetlands to the historic Te Puna Village Green area and Rangihoua Bay beyond.
