Site 9
Covering approximately 3.1 acres (1.238 hectares), Site 9 is one of the most secluded sites in the first release at Mountain Landing.
Tucked away in the historic Te Puna Valley, it looks out over a private wetland to the heritage-protected Village Green, the site of one of New Zealand 's earliest mission stations. Beyond, sea views take in Moturoa and Motuterakihi Islands and the famous Black Rocks.
The small, intimate valley is lined with regenerating native bush and the wetland with its abundance of bird life. The house site sits on the north-facing side of the valley to capture maximum hours of sunshine. To the east, the safe swimming beach of Rangihoua Bay lies just a short level walk away over the open spaces of the Village Green.
